Council Member McFarland Concerned That Citizens May Think Council Doing Something Wrong

Less than 3 months on the council and she is worried about her phone being subpoenaed? Her reason is very interesting – “for some reason, somebody was to think that something was going on between us that maybe we are discussing stuff that we’re not supposed to at some point, and they try to subpoena our phones they can do that, and your personal cell phones will be subpoena.” Why is Council Members McFarland & Martinez so concerned about getting their phones subpoenaed?
